BASSA BASSA ARTS
“BASSA BASSA” is something my Mother would often say when someone asked her how she was doing. It’s a fairly common phrase in the Caribbean island of Antigua, where my Mother was born and raised. I dedicate my art to her memory.

It's nice to see you were having Solstice thoughts as well: to echo your painting, apparently at dawn this morning, there were people dancing at Stonehenge to celebrate the arrival of the Summer Solstice. Brightness is at its height.
