Waiting
For everything or everyone we wait for,
Perhaps there are wonderful people we’ve overlooked Who might already be wherever we are,
Or who would go anywhere to meet us right now
Or at least would have when we needed them back then
People ready and willing to spend time
With us amongst all of our wonderful things
No matter how big or small –
That time has already awarded us.
